Mar.1997 Yunnan Panqiao phosphorus and Power Co.,Ltd Formed as a joint venture with Nissho iwai co.,Chengjiang phoshorus chemical industry group co.,ltd., Chengjinag county hydro-power development company and Shee hing trading co..Construction of phosphorus elemental at China.
Feb.1996 JCI USA Inc. incorporated.

Mar.1944 The name of Nippon Seiren Co., Ltd. changed to the present one, Nippon chemical Industrial Co., Ltd.
Mar.1940 Nishiyodogawa factory established at Osaka.
Dec.1935 Nippon Kagaku Kogyo Co., Ltd. (established in 1909), merged into Nippon Seiren Co., Ltd., providing two factories; Kameido factory producing pigments and barium chemicals (closed in 1995), and Fukushima factory producing phosphates.
Dec.1924 Fukushima factory established. Production of yellow and red phosphorus started.
Sep.1915 Tanahashi Seiyakusho incorporated as Joint Stock Company and name changed to Nippon Seiren Co., Ltd. with a capital of ¥500,000. Main products: chromates, silicates, and aluminum sulphates.
Sep.1908 Production of chromates started at komatugawa factory (closed in 1976) in Tokyo.
Sep.1893 Tanahashi Seiyakusho founded as a private company by Dr. Toragoro Tanahashi in Azabu, Tokyo to produce inorganic chemicals.
