Fukushima No.1 Factory
It is located in front of Koriyama Station, in
Fukushima Prefecture Technopolis, which lies to the north
of Tokyo, approximately 1.5 hour by bullet train. This
factory was established in 1917 through acquisition of
a white phosphorus manufacturing factory. Originally,
phosphorus and artificial fertilizers had been produced,
but the site has been renewed to produce barium compounds
and lithium chemicals, with special emphasis on electronic
materials.

Fukushima No.2 Factory
This factory is located in Miharu Town, approximately
30 minutes by car from Fukushima No.1 Factory. It was
first established in 1924 as a power-generating company,
and presently, it produces organic phosphorus compounds
and inorganic phosphorus compounds. Organic phosphorus
compounds are developed on commission, being regarded
as intermediates for medical and agricultural chemicals.

Aichi Factory
Aichi Factory is situated in Taketoyo Town, approximately
30 minutes by express train from Nagoya. The Factory faces
Kinuura Bay, with its private pier. White phosphorus,
phosphoric acid, and other phosphorus compounds are consistently
produced. Its establishment was in 1970, and such characteristic
products as phosphoric acid for semiconductors are manufactured.

Nishiyodogawa Factory
Nishiyodogawa Factory was established near Yodo-River
in 1940, as a result of acquisition of a soda sulfate
plant in Osaka. The major products manufactured are silicate
compounds, whose component, glassy silicate, is made from
silicate sand and alkali. High-purity, uniform crystal
size silicate compounds are also manufactured.

Tokuyama Factory
Tokuyama Factory was established in 1971, in midst of
the Tokuyama Industrial Belt. It specializes in manufacturing
of chromic acid compounds, producing various compounds
from chrome ore. These compounds are essential for metal
finishing and tanning agents. Since the production involves
hexavalent chromium, environmental issues are very carefully
considered.
